The 10 teams were divided into two pots ahead of the draw. Pot A contained the five seeded teams based
on their latest Fifa ranking. This included Cote d'Ivoire, Ghana, Algeria, Nigeria and Tunisia.
Pot B contained the remaining sides, which included Egypt, Ethiopia, Cameroon, Senegal and Burkina Faso.
The biggest gasp of the draw proceedings was reserved for the moment when Cote d'Ivoire and Senegal were drawn against each other, setting up a very fierce West African tie.
Other interesting clashes include Nigeria facing Ethiopia, and Ghana taking on Egypt.
The teams will play home and away fixtures on October 11-15 and November 15-19 to determine the five finalists, who will then represent the African continent in Brazil.
